BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team moved into second place in the Mid-Florida Conference with a win over Daytona State College Saturday at Titan Field House.

The Titans got off to a fast start behind Jonathan Ned, whose third 3-pointer in the first six minutes gave the Titans an 18-2 lead. Eastern Florida State College would see the lead shrink before halftime as Daytona State College finished on an 11-2 run in the final 5:41 to go to halftime trailing 29-22.
