Eastern Florida State’s Skye Williams Receives NJCAA Region 8 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball player Skye Williams was named the NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week on Tuesday.

The guard from Indianapolis, Indiana averaged 25 points and seven rebounds in two victories for the No. 22-ranked women’s basketball team. For the season Williams is averaging 15 points and five rebounds per game but has been averaging 20 points per game in conference games.

Last season Williams was named first-team All-State as well as a first-team all-Suncoast Conference player.

The women’s basketball team will travel to Fort Myers for a key Suncoast Conference game against No. 14 Florida SouthWestern State College.
