Eastern Florida Women’s Basketball Will Face St. Petersburg Saturday in Conference Matchup

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team hosts St. Petersburg College in a Suncoast Conference matchup Saturday afternoon at Titan Field House. 

The Titans, who are No. 22 in the NJCAA Division I poll, are 4-2 and in second place in the conference and look to sweep the season series with the Lady Titans on Saturday.

Sophomore guard Jacquelyn Levay is fifth in the country in 3-point shooting percentage and has hit four or more 3-pointers in nine games this season, including six of the last seven.

Teammate Skye Williams leads the team offensively, averaging 16 points per game and has scored 24 points or more in each of the past three games. In the first meeting with St. Petersburg this season Williams hit two big free throws to give the Titans an 83-82 win.

St. Petersburg College comes into the matchup 17-10 overall and 1-6 in the conference and is led by sophomore Deshari Graham who is averaging 15.5 points per game. Since the 2013-14 season the series is tied 9-9 heading into Saturday’s matchup which tips off at 2 p.m.
