Family-Friendly EcoFest Set For Sunday, March 1 at Environmental Learning Center

Free admission, free canoe quick trips on the Indian River Lagoon, food, music and more

VERO BEACH, FLORIDA – EcoFest will be held at the Environmental Learning Center in Vero Beach on Sunday, March 1, from 11 p.m. to 4 p.m.

EcoFest is Indian River County’s favorite environmental festival. It’s fun for the whole family.

The day will feature free admission, free canoe quick trips along the Indian River Lagoon, incredible wildlife programs by Treasure Coast Wildlife Center, food trucks, face painting, eco-crafts, scavenger hunts, live music by Zan Ricky, a drum circle, art exhibits, and a community quilt competition.

Check out fascinating workshops on forest therapy, bird photography, the Trees for Life program and protecting the Indian River Lagoon’s health.

Guests will also get the chance to win complimentary pontoon boat rides and free memberships.

Exhibitors include the Pelican Island Audubon Society, Treasure Coast Wildlife Center, Barrier Island Center, Florida Forest Service, Harbor Branch’s Marine Mammal Ambulance. Click and Grow and the League of Women Voters.

The Environmental Learning Center is a nonprofit organization located at 255 Live Oak Drive, Vero Beach, at the western base of the Wabasso Bridge on County Road 510.
