Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Bullock was killed in the shooting incident

Authorities have reported that a Florida Highway Patrol trooper has been shot and killed in the line of duty on Interstate 95.

Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Bullock was killed in the shooting incident, which happened along I-95 in Martin County, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Circumstances of the shooting have not been released as I-95 is shut down in both directions and an investigation is ongoing.

It was reported that Trooper Bullock was assigned to Troop L and is a 19-year veteran of the FHP and also served in the Air Force.
