Florida Tech Panthers Set To Compete in Day One of Titan Winter Invitational

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA – The Florida Tech golf team competed in the opening two rounds of the Eastern Florida State College Titan Winter Invitational at Suntree Country Club.
Tech is represented by seven golfers in the tournament, all playing as individuals, at Suntree’s par-72, 6,953-yard Classic Course.
Matthew Brown paces the Panthers through the first 36 holes, shooting rounds of 76 and 77 to sit in a tie for 35th at +9. Ryan Hull (+11) is two strokes back from his teammate and in a tie for 43rd following rounds of 77 and 78 on Monday.
Sitting two shots back of Hull is Zachary Sherman (+13), who is tied for 51st with opening scores of 83 and 74. Matthew Senft-Greenberg is currently in a tie for 63rd at +17 after rounds of 79 and 82. Jacob Brantefelt is in 68th at +17 after putting together rounds of 85 and 78.
Yannick Lebreton is tied for 72nd at +24 with scores of 88 and 80. Kyle Somers sits in a tie for 74th at +25 following rounds of 87 and 82.
The final round of the Titan Winter Invitational is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday with a shotgun start.
