Four Members of Eastern Florida Women’s Basketball Team Named to All-Suncoast Conference Teams

Jacquelyn Levay is one of the top shooters in the country hitting on 42.6% from 3-point line

Sophomores Skye Williams, Jacquelyn Levay and Milan Schimmel were all named to the first team All-Suncoast Conference Teams and freshman Stephanie Torres made the second team.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Four members of the Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team were named to the All-Suncoast Conference teams over the weekend.

Sophomores Skye Williams, Jacquelyn Levay and Milan Schimmel were all named to the first team and freshman Stephanie Torres made the second team.

Williams, a guard from Indianapolis, Indiana, made the first team for the second straight season after finishing the regular season averaging 15.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game and has scored at least six points in every game this season.

Levay, a guard from Tampa, is one of the top 3-point shooters in the country, hitting 42.6 percent of her 3-pointers this season and averages three per game. Levay finishes the regular season averaging 12 points per game and made the first team this season after making the second team last season.

Schimmel, a guard from Mission, Oregon, finished the regular season with five double-doubles and heads to the postseason averaging 14.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and four assists per game.

Torres, a guard from Orlando, is averaging 12.3 points per game in her first season with the Titans.

The Titans finished the regular season with a regular-season record of 23 wins and head to the FCSAA State Tournament for the third straight season, facing host Northwest Florida State College in the first round on March 5.
