Howell was also inducted into the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame in 2018 and the NJCAA Hall of Fame in 2019.

“It’s because of our team. You get awards like this because of your team, I don’t do any of this by myself and I can’t do it without them,” Howell said. “It is more than generous of the college to recognize me and I appreciate the board taking the time to recognize me.”
