BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a new suspect in the latest edition of “Fishing for Fugitives” India as Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Manatee Cover Park in Merritt Island.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey featured his “Catch of the Day” as 24-year-old Nicholas Orvar Ekstrom.

Ekstrom is wanted for bench warrant failure to appear for early resolution reference to carrying a concealed firearm.

Sheriff Ivey says that Ekstrom is known to be in the “waters of the Cocoa area” and was last “hooked” December 19, 2019.

Ekstrom has $2,000 bond.

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
