Woman Succumbs to Injuries from Head-On Crash in Titusville on Wednesday

A married couple visiting from New Jersey were seriously injured in a traffic crash Wednesday morning near the intersection of Bobbi Lane and South Street in Titusville.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A woman from New Jersey was killed and a man was seriously injured in a traffic crash Wednesday morning near the intersection of Bobbi Lane and South Street in Titusville.

The crash happened around 8 a.m.

The investigation shows that a tan 2004 Ford F-250, driven by Raymond Roberson, 35, of Titusville, was traveling northbound on South St. when he swerved into the oncoming southbound lane and struck a married couple’s white 2019 Nissan Rogue head-on.

Holly Transue, 64, who was a passenger in the Rogue, was pronounced deceased at a local hospital Wednesday night.

Her husband, who has yet to be identified and who was driving the Rogue, sustained serious injuries.

Roberson sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department.
