FHP: Brian Curt Walker, 51, charged with leaving the scene of crash, driving on suspended license

Brian Curt Walker, 51, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash and driving on a suspended license, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 51-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident involving a school in the area of Barnes Boulevard and Riomar Drive in Rockledge on Friday. 

Brian Curt Walker was charged with leaving the scene of a crash and driving on a suspended license, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The FHP says the suspect was driving west on Barnes when it hit the back of the school bus when the bus stopped.

Though the FHP says students were on the bus at the time of the accident, there are no reported injuries.

After that, the suspect got out of his car and fled on foot, the FHP says.
