New York Jets Safety Marcus Maye Will be Available for Meet-and-Greet With Community
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Free EKGs are being provided at Health First Medical Group’s Gateway location at 1223 Gateway Drive on Saturday in Melbourne, by Who We Play For for ages 10 and up.
New York Jets Safety Marcus Maye, who attended Holy Trinity and was an All-American at the University of Florida, was available for a meet-and-greet with the community.
The free community event also included breakfast, a jump rope competition, Zumba classes, an obstacle course, BMI and weight checks, and more.
Health First and Who We Play For, one of the largest heart-screening nonprofits in the country, have been community partners for six years.
The partnership has provided more than 3,500 electrocardiogram heart screenings to Brevard student-athletes in need so far. Through those screenings, more than 25 life-threatening heart conditions in student-athletes were discovered.
