NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – TORNADO WATCH 33 IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 A.M. FOR BREVARD COUNTY.
National Weather Service of Melbourne is warning residents in Brevard County that some severe thunderstorms are expected to move through the area overnight.
The severe thunderstorms could produce wind gusts up over 60 mph. The storms also have the potential to develop into tornadoes.
Frequent lightning strikes are possible with the severe weather system.
