Titusville Firefighters Extinguish Trailer Fire On Cheney Highway, One Victim Flown to Trauma Center

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – One person was injured as the result of a trailer fire on the 900 block of Cheney Highway on Monday, the Titusville Fire Department said. 

According to a Facebook post from the department, crews responded to a report of a structure fire with entrapment at the residence at 7:45 a.m.

When crews arrived, they found one person “halfway out the front door” that had sustained “significant burns.”

Soon after, the TFD says the fire was located in the bedroom and extinguished

The victim has been flown to a local trauma center, the TFD adds.

The State Fire Marshal is continuing to investigate.
