Florida Tech's largest annual fundraiser to support Panther athletic programs

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The 2020 Chopper Dropper is set to take place Friday, March 20 on the campus of Florida Tech.
Florida Tech’s largest annual fundraiser to support athletics will feature live music, good friends, food and drinks. Come out and support Florida Tech’s 19 sports programs, including, and most importantly, 500 plus Panther student-athletes.
“As always, we are planning an awesome cocktail reception and dinner and all the proceeds raised will benefit our awesome student-athletes and Panther Athletics,” said Gina Yates, Assistant Director of Athletic Partnerships.
The party begins under the Big Tent on the Varsity Training Centerfield on the campus of Florida Institute of Technology.

This year, guests will get to enjoy live music, and you’ll watch with over 800 of your “closest” friends as 2,000 numbered golf balls drop from the sky and land around the pin below.
Cash prizes of $50,000 and $10,000; and fifteen each of $1,000 will be awarded to the 17 balls landing closest to the pin. Will your ball be a winner? The odds are in your favor.
Buy your Chopper Dropper ticket today and secure your place under the Big Tent. Tickets usually sell out before the event so don’t delay.
Each ticket purchased includes one wristband to enter the cocktail reception and one ball in the ball drop. All persons attending the cocktail reception must be wearing an official event wristband to enter.
All sponsors will have early access to the event to enjoy complimentary food and drinks and get your seats before guests arrive.
