BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In the latest edition of Sit Down with Steve, the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson talks with Alyssa Carson, the youngest ever astronaut-in-training.

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she is currently a freshman at Florida Tech in Melbourne.

Carson’s interest in space began at an early age, and she continues to carry forward her dreams of becoming an astronaut.

She is a true role model for young people, having spoken to countless groups with a message of goal attainment and determination.

Carson starred in the “SodaStream Discovers Water On Mars: Fresh Sparkling Water in Seconds” TV commercial that was aired internationally during the Super Bowl earlier this month and is very active on social media, including Facebook, where she currently has over 92,000 followers.

Remember her name as she is a very special young lady that will let nothing get in her way of achieving her dreams.
