State-of-the-art services include Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), known as I.V. nutrition feeding, and VitalStim therapy.

“TPN is among our highly specialized services. This therapy can prevent malnutrition in patients who can’t absorb food by mouth, and is often used for patients with Crohn’s disease or cancer,” said Charish Lunsford, Director of Nursing.

Vitalstim is an external stimulation therapy that helps re-educate muscles. It can greatly increase safety and independence for those with swallowing disorders.

Certified therapists conduct patient evaluations to determine which muscles would benefit. “By offering advanced therapies, and compassionate care, we can best help patients reach their highest level of function,” said Lunsford.
