Southbound U.S. 1 Shut Down after Fatal Crash at Intersection with Sarno Road in Melbourne

Melbourne Police are responding to a fatal vehicle crash near the intersection of U.S. 1 and Sarno Road, they say.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Police in Melbourne responded late Wednesday morning to a fatal vehicle crash that completely shut down southbound U.S. 1 near Sarno Road.

All southbound traffic on U.S. 1 is being diverted west on Sarno Road, police say.

The MPD first reported the crash just after 11:30 a.m.
