Thousands of Rubber Duckies Will Flock Together for 22nd Annual Great Brevard Duck Race March 28

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA VILLAGE, FLORIDA – An estimated 12,000 yellow rubber ducks with ultra-cool sunglasses will be racing their way in the Indian River on March 28 at 3:30 p.m. for the 22nd Annual Great Brevard Duck Race at Lee Wenner Park in Cocoa Village, in partnership with the Historic Cocoa Village Main Street Association, after the Central Florida Car Show.

Duck season begins in February and ducks will be available for adoption for a $5 donation at various bank locations throughout Brevard County or you can adopt online at GreatBrevardDuckRace.com

The rubber duckies will race to the finish line to win great prizes for their ‘adopters.’

The Great Brevard Duck Race is the major fundraising event for Crosswinds Youth Services. All proceeds from the event help support Crosswinds’ mission to provide shelter, food, emergency services, counseling and other support to our community’s most vulnerable children.

Every duck adopted provides hope to children in crisis and enters you for a chance to win fabulous prizes including the Grand Prize, a 2020 Honda Civic, free 2-year lease, courtesy of Space Coast Honda; a four-night Disney Cruise Line vacation for 2 guests aboard the Disney Dream, courtesy of Disney Cruise Line; a large Big Green Egg Grill, nest, and accessories, courtesy of Wassi’s Learning Center; a Tahitian Pearl necklace and matching earrings, courtesy of Bobbi’s at Parkside.

Additional prizes include a new prize, a one-month cleaning service for your home, courtesy of Nelson Professional Cleaning Services; a $500 gift card for furniture, courtesy of Indian River Furniture; four two-park one-day tickets to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, courtesy of Universal Orlando Resort; a two-night stay for two at the Hilton on Cocoa Beach; and a full day of fishing for four or an evening of shark fishing from Obsession Charters Deep Sea Fishing from Port Canaveral.

All prizes have been generously donated. Participants do not have to be present to win.
