All traffic was diverted off causeway at South Tropical Trail Monday Morning

The Pineda Causeway (S.R. 404) is now open in both directions after it was closed at the South Tropical Trail (S.R. 3) overpass to all traffic, due to a downed power line Monday morning.

*UPDATE* BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Pineda Causeway (S.R. 404) is now open in both directions after it was closed at the South Tropical Trail (S.R. 3) overpass to all traffic, due to a downed power line Monday morning.

All traffic was diverted off the causeway at South Tropical Trail.

The closure caused extreme delays to morning commuters and drivers were urged to take an alternate route and avoid the area.
