West Shore High Senior Kishen Mitra Finalist in Prestigious Coca-Cola Scholars Program

Brevard County schools have never had a Regional Finalist in this scholarship program

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA –  West Shore senior Kishen Mitra been selected as a 2020 Regional Finalist in the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.

Based on data, Brevard County schools have never had a Regional Finalist in this scholarship program.

Nearly 200,000 applicants and about 1,900 semifinalists participated in this program and just 251 students were selected as Regional Finalists.

The next phase of the selection process is a 20-minute interview with a Regional Interview Committee.

Based on the regional interview and the materials previously submitted, 150 Coca-Cola Scholars will be designated and invited to attend Scholars Weekend in Atlanta in mid-April to receive a $20,000 award.
