When and How to Take CBD Oil?

There are a few different methods of administering CBD oil. The four main methods include:
• Inhaling it through a vaporizer,
• Applying it in the form of a topicals like creams, balms or ointment,
• Using it sublingually under the tongue
• Ingesting it through an edible product.
The type of administration that you plan on using will sometimes determine when the best time of day would be for administration.
Some products can provide you with a boost of energy, while other products will help you wind down before bed. Let’s talk more about when and how you should be taking CBD as part of your daily routine towards achieving optimal health and wellness.
The Best Time to Take CBD
People react differently when they are taking a medication or supplement. CBD falls into this category as well.
Some people will want to take their first dose of CBD around the time that they are eating breakfast. It allows the body to provide a good level of energy throughout the day.
If you’re taking multiple doses throughout the day, make sure that you’re spacing them out properly. If you are someone that experiences a surge of energy from your CBD product, make sure you allow a number of hours to go by after your last dose prior to going to bed. Otherwise, you may find that you can’t get to sleep.
If you’re taking a large dose of CBD each day, you might experience some drowsiness from the product you’re using. The best time to take your CBD will be just before bed if this is the case.
If you return home from work for the evening and have no plans of leaving again, it would be acceptable to take your CBD dose any point during the evening. It might take a little bit of experimentation to figure out the best time of day to take your CBD.
How to Find Your Optimal Dose?
If you’ve never taken CBD before, then you’ll want to spend a little bit of time researching the various information that’s available to you. CBD comes in many different forms, but it also comes in all kinds of doses.
If you don’t know how your body is going to react to CBD, you’d better start with something that is lower in milligrams. It can take your body a couple of weeks to really become more balanced thanks to the CBD you’re taking. In this instance, don’t up your dose until you’ve seen how your body is going to react.
A common starter dose of CBD is anywhere between 2 and 20 milligrams. People who are treating something like seizures or a severe anxiety disorder might be taking upwards of 250 milligrams each day. You should consult with your doctor about the right CBD dosage if you need some help figuring out how much to start taking.
Can You Take Too Much CBD?
CBD is not something that causes overdose. In this regard, it’s a very safe product. However, taking too much CBD can cause fatigue, insomnia, low blood pressure and dry mouth.
That’s why it’s a good idea to start slow. You can always increase your dose slowly, but jumping right into a high dose can provide you with side effects that you’re not really looking for. If you notice any unpleasant side effects, you should stop taking your CBD and reassess your regimen.
