Woman, 32, Killed by Train Near Dixon Boulevard Crossing in Cocoa Monday Morning

Police first responded to the incident at 9:35 a.m.

The Cocoa Police Department is conducting a death investigation after they say a train struck and killed a 32-year-old woman roughly 150 feet south of the Dixon Boulevard crossing on Monday morning.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Police Department is conducting a death investigation after they say a train struck and killed a 32-year-old woman roughly 150 feet south of the Dixon Boulevard crossing on Monday morning.

Police responded to a report of the incident at 9:35 a.m., after receiving a call from an employee at Florida East Coast Railway.

It is believed that the woman was killed on impact.

No identification has been made as police work to notify next of kin.
