BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A new series, ‘Best of Friday Night Locker Room’, will be dedicated to showcasing some of the best moments by the Friday Night Locker Room over the years. The new series will re-air on Space Coast Daily TV and feature the live game broadcasts, in their entirety, with some of the best moments in high school sports on the Space Coast.
With high school sports halted due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Friday Night Locker Room in partnership with Space Coast Daily, will provide fans, students and players an outlet during a challenging time of no games or events in high school sports.
In September 2019, Space Coast (1-1) traveled to Holy Trinity (3-0) in what became one of the most highly contested games of 2019 season.
Space Coast Head Coach Matt Diesel led his Vipers into Tigers Stadium to take on a Holy Trinity squad that was rolling at the time and unveiling a brand new, state-of-the-art football field in their home opener.

“It’s always interesting to watch a public school play a private school,” said Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson, who helped announce the game.
“Holy Trinity, with a very small roster, but extremely talented players versus Matt Diesel’s Vipers, is always a very difficult team to play. The game was everything we hoped for, and more!”

Wilson’s broadcast partner, Orville Susong, echoed those sentiments and knew this game was going to be special before it was played.
“We picked the Holy Trinity versus Space Coast game because we thought it would be a good one to start with,” said Susong, who has broadcasted 20-years of high school sports in Brevard County.
“Holy Trinity was really excited because they were playing at home for the first time on their new artificial turf. We thought it would be a good game and it turned out to be a great one. Overtime is always very exciting.”
Space Coast ended up defeating Holy Trinity 14-7 in overtime.
The Space Coast Vipers finished the 2019 campaign with an overall record at 4-6, while Holy Trinity finished 6-5.
