BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA  – Canaveral National Seashore has announced it will cease operations to implement the latest guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, and local and state authorities to promote social distancing.

All access to the beaches within Canaveral National Seashore will be closed to the public.

This step is also in accordance with Brevard County that will close public parking and beachside parks.

The health and safety of our visitors, employees, volunteers, and partners at Canaveral National Seashore is our number one priority.

The National Park Service is working with the federal, state, and local authorities to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

Park officials will notify the public when the Canaveral National Seashore will resume full operations and provide updates on our website and social media channels.

Updates about National Park Service operations will be posted on www.nps.gov/coronavirus
