BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College softball player Madison Neuhaus and baseball player Jonathan Hubbard are named Orlando Health Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 1.

Neuhaus, a sophomore from Tarpon Springs, hit .500 with two home runs seven runs scored and drove in six in five games this week for the Titans.

The third baseman helped Eastern Florida State College to a 4-1 record in the Southern Conference Round Robin in Jensen Beach and is hitting .314 this season with a team-leading four home runs.

Hubbard, a freshman from Dunedin, also hit .500 for the week with five RBI and scored twice in a three-game series with Indian River State College.

The first baseman hit a grand slam during a 13-2 win on Friday night. Hubbard is hitting .282 this season with 13 RBI which is second on the team.

The baseball team has a busy week at Bruce Bochy Field, hosting Florida State College at Jacksonville Monday at 4 p.m., Kalamazoo Community College Wednesday at 6 p.m. and ASA Miami at 6 p.m. on Friday.

The softball team is at Titan Softball Complex Tuesday for a doubleheader with Lincoln Trail beginning at 4 p.m. and then hosts Sinclair Community College Thursday for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.
