Palm Bay Police Arrest 16-Year-Old Suspect for Shooting Near Emerson Drive and Minton Road

Victim taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police have arrested a 16-year-old male suspect for a shooting that took place near the area of Emerson Drive and Minton Road on Tuesday evening.
The victim of the shooting was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to the investigation, police officers responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. in regards to a male victim that had been shot.
After talking with investigators, the victim was able to identify the 16-year-old suspect through a photo lineup that police provided at the scene.
Suspect was arrested at his home shortly after being identified by the victim.
The suspect has been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, possession of firearm by delinquent and violation of probation.
Palm Bay Police are still investigating the shooting incident.
