SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Duck season is here and The Crosswinds Youth Services Duck Race is March 28th, at 3:30 pm, Lee Wenner Park, Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Want to adopt a duck? Duck season is here.

The Crosswinds Youth Services Duck Race is Saturday, March 28, at Lee Wenner Park in Cocoa.

The event begins at 3:30 p.m. when over an estimated 12,000 yellow rubber ducks decked out with ultra-cool sunglasses will be racing their way in the Indian River on  for the 22nd Annual Great Brevard Duck Race.

Ducks will race to the finish line to win GREAT prizes for their ‘adopters.’

The grand prize features a 2020 Honda Civic, free 2 year lease, courtesy of Space Coast Honda and lots of other great prizes.

The Great Brevard Duck Race is a major fundraiser for Crosswinds Youth Services, a not-for-profit organization that has been serving vulnerable young people and their families in Brevard County for 46 years.

All proceeds from the event helps support Crosswinds’ mission to provide shelter, food, emergency services, counseling and other support to our community’s most vulnerable children.
