BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Native Plants in your yard? Native plant gardens are less work, no fertilizing, no regular watering and they are lagoon friendly.

Natives don’t need irrigating once established, nor added fertilizers.

This prevents pollution and added runoff from going into the Indian River Lagoon.

Lisa Ruckman from the Brevard Indian River Lagoon Coalition talks Native Plants with Palm Bay homeowner Viki Thompson Wylder and with landscaper and nurseryman, Tim Harrison.
