More than 40 professional women from Brevard spent the morning helping students

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eau Gallie High Assistant Principal Heather Legate and Brevard Public Schools’ 2019 Teacher of the Year Shannon Kraeling have spent the past few months organizing a powerful program to help their female students realize their individual worth.

More than 40 professional women from throughout Brevard spent their morning helping students understand their value and worth by sharing their personal stories, offering advice, and discussing hopes and dreams.

There was a lot of laughter, a few tears, many hugs and lots of selfies. New bonds and connections were formed.

A fantastic example of “girl power,” the event showed how important and powerful it can be when women work together to empower, support and elevate each other.

Every young lady left knowing they are valued, worthy and capable of greatness.
