Brevard County Fire Rescue, Florida Forest Service Douse 5-Acre Brush Fire in Cocoa

no structural endangerment as the Forest Service has worked hard to contain the fire

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue units E44, E29, B644, Merritt Island Volunteer Fire Department B6841, Wildland 1 and the Florida Forest Service responded to the area of the landfill off Adamson Road in Cocoa for a 5-acre brush fire in heavy fuel.
There was no structural endangerment and the Forest Service has worked hard to contain the fire with plow lines in conjunction with suppression units on scene.
