BREVARD COVID-19 UPDATE, APRIL 11: Space Coast Reports 125 Coronavirus Cases, Three Deaths

COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 34

As of Sunday afternoon, Brevard County has 125 reported cases of COVID-19, according to the Florida Department of Health.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – As of Sunday afternoon, Brevard County has 125 reported cases of COVID-19, according to the Florida Department of Health.

According to the Florida Department of Health, the demographic breakdown of the age of those testing positive ranges from 1 to 94, with the median age being 52 years of age, and 50 percent are male and 50 percent are female.

The current Brevard list includes 119 Florida residents and six non-residents.

COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 34. Three deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19 in Brevard County, including one on Saturday.

The Florida Department of Health reports 2,483 tests have been administered in Brevard County. According to the Saturday evening report, 2,333 of those tests have come back negative.

Of the 183,222 people tested in Florida on Monday, 163,398 people have tested negative for COVID-19. Meanwhile, the Florida Department of Health has reported a total of 19,347 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state with 2,633 hospitalized.

Deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Florida are 446 as of Saturday evening.

In the U.S., 547,681 cases have been reported and 20,602 deaths have been attributed to COVID-19. Global cases reported are 1,835,373 with 113,362 deaths.
