BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Rescue crews in Brevard County responded to an incident at Merritt Island Airport that involved a small engine plane running off the runway and ending up in the grass on Sunday.

Authorities say no injuries happened as a result of the incident.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m.
