ORLANDO, FLORIDA — Specialized Rehabilitation Physician Group (SRPG) delivered personal protective equipment to skilled nursing homes facilities in Central Florida.

Specialized Rehabilitation Physician Group (SRPG) delivered personal protective equipment to skilled nursing homes facilities in Central Florida to deal with the health crisis caused by COVID-19. The delivery of the medical equipment will continue this week.

SRPG has managed to deliver 300 fabric masks and face shields to several facilities in Lake, Orange, Osceola, Brevard and Polk counties.

This week, SRGP will be delivering more than 400 face shields and face masks to more nursing homes employees to help them stay healthy. So far 40 rehab homes have received the protective gear.

The initiative was spearheaded by SRGP personnel to provide relief to the workers in these centers who work hard every day to provide medical services to the elderly residents of our community.

“The battle against the coronavirus is everyone’s responsibility. Our commitment at Specialized Rehabilitation Physician Group is to help the people who are in COVID-19’s line of defense. We can all contribute a grain of sand to combat this pandemic.” Indicated Dr. Javier Placer, MD.
