Titusville police detectives are investigating the shooting of a Brevard County man who was shot multiple times Thursday night at about 10 p.m. at Tree Lane at the Emerald Place, located at 1040 Tree Lane.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police detectives are investigating the shooting of a Brevard County man who was shot multiple times Thursday night at about 10 p.m. at Tree Lane at the Emerald Place, located at 1040 Tree Lane.

“On Thursday night at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a report of the shooting of an adult male on Tree Lane at the Emerald Place apartment complex,” said Titusville Police Department PIO Amy Matthews.

“The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was sitting just outside of his residence on Tree Lane and an unknown suspect(s) fired several gunshot rounds at him from the exterior corner of the apartment building.”

Matthews said the shooting victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition and there were no other injuries.

The suspects are still at large and investigators are working on leads and are encouraging anyone with information to call the Titusville Police Department at 321-264-7800 or can remain anonymous and they may be eligible for a reward by contacting Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
