BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Emergency Management reminds residents that local government services are available while doors are closed to the public due to COVID-19.

Brevard County has reported 164 cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Department of Health.

According to the Florida Department of Health, the demographic breakdown of the age of those testing positive ranges from 1 to 94, with the median age being 52 years of age, and 50 percent are male and 50 percent are female.

The current Brevard list includes 157 Florida residents and seven non-residents.

COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 38. Six deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19 in Brevard County, including three since Sunday.

The Florida Department of Health reports 3,583 tests have been administered in Brevard County. According to the Wednesday report, 3,026 of those tests have come back negative.
