BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on Friday that Florida barbershops, hair salons and nail salons will be allowed to reopen in Florida on Monday, May 11.
The announcement was made after Gov. DeSantis released a video over social media that featured the owner of J Henry’s Barber Shop in downtown Orlando who had the privilege of making the big announcement.
The order will not apply to Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Personal services businesses have been shut down statewide since at least April 3.
