BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on Monday that restaurants and retail businesses will be allowed to reopen starting on Monday, May 18.

Bars and nightclubs will remain closed at this time, according to Gov. DeSantis.

In addition, theme parks have been given the ‘ok’ to submit their plans for reopening.

“They have to provide how they are going to do it, how they’re going to accommodate the guests, how they’re going to protect the staff and then they need to have an endorsement from the local official in their locality,” said Gov. DeSantis.
