UPDATE: Police Investigating When Two Skydivers are Hospitalized After Crash Landing in Titusville

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville police are investigating a parachuting incident in which two adult males were critically injured at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to Titusville police spokesperson to Amy Matthews, officers responded to a call involving two injured parachutists who fell from the sky and struck a tree in the front yard of a home on Tennessee Street.

“The preliminary investigation has revealed that the two victims, who were part of a tandem jump from a plane that originated at Dunn Airport, experienced a parachute malfunction,” said Matthews.

“Both victims were transported by helicopter to a local hospital in critical condition.”

There were no other injuries.

This incident remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by investigators.
