BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County has reported 328 cases of COVID-19 as of Sunday afternoon, according to the Florida Department of Health.
According to the Florida Department of Health, the demographic breakdown of the age of those testing positive ranges from 1 to 94, with the median age being 53 years of age, and 49 percent are male and 51 percent are female.
The current Brevard list includes 318 Florida residents and 10 non-residents.
Brevard COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 50. Nine deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19 in Brevard County, including six since April 12.
The Florida Department of Health reports 12,040 tests have been administered in Brevard County. According to Sunday’s report, 11,709 of those tests have come back negative.
The Florida Department of Health has reported a total of 40,596 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state with 7,171 hospitalized.
Sunday’s report also shows 539,630 people in Florida have been tested for COVID-19,
Deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Florida are 1,721 as of Sunday.
In the U.S., 1,326,138 confirmed cases have been reported and 79,384 deaths have been attributed to COVID-19. Global cases reported are 4,088,393 with 281,893 global deaths.
