BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County has reported 310 cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday afternoon, according to the Florida Department of Health.
According to the Florida Department of Health, the demographic breakdown of the age of those testing positive ranges from 1 to 94, with the median age being 53 years of age, and 49 percent are male and 51 percent are female.
The current Brevard list includes 301 Florida residents and nine non-residents.
Brevard COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 48. Eight deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19 in Brevard County, including five since April 12.
The Florida Department of Health reports 11,108 tests have been administered in Brevard County. According to Tuesday’s report, 10,785 of those tests have come back negative.
The Florida Department of Health has reported a total of 37,439 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state with 6,330 hospitalized.
Tuesday’s report also shows 467,553 people in Florida have been tested for COVID-19,
Deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Florida are 1,471 as of Tuesday.
In the U.S., 1,193,027 confirmed cases have been reported and 70,110 deaths have been attributed to COVID-19. Global cases reported are 3,628,824 with 254,592 global deaths.
