Brevard Health Alliance will operate drive-thru/walk-up site

Representative Tyler Sirois announced that the Brevard Health Alliance, R.E.A.L. Church, and the City of Cocoa will partner to offer COVID-19 nasal swab testing at Byrd Plaza on Friday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or as long as supplies last.(City of Cocoa image)

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Rep. Tyler Sirois announced that the Brevard Health Alliance, R.E.A.L. Church, and the City of Cocoa will partner to offer COVID-19 nasal swab testing at Byrd Plaza on Friday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or as long as supplies last.

Individuals can receive the COVID-19 test with or without symptoms.

Two drive-thru lanes will be available for vehicular traffic. A separate station will be available for individuals wanting walk-up testing.

The Brevard Health Alliance will also have a mobile clinic on-site with a medical provider for treatment of basic illnesses and other medical evaluations.

Byrd Plaza is located at 801 Dixon Boulevard (near the corner of Dixon and U.S. Highway 1), in Cocoa, Florida.

Results will be communicated by telephone to patients within 2-5 days.

All individuals will be served as long as supplies last. Testing is at no cost to individuals. Brevard Health Alliance does not require a co-pay but will bill insurance, if applicable.

Please arrive with a driver’s license or identification card and insurance card, if applicable.

Paper copies of the Florida Unemployment Assistance Application will also be available.
