BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – COVID-19 has caused significant financial harm in addition to its threat to our health and well-being. We know many members of the community are unfortunately experiencing job losses or reduced hours at work because of the pandemic.

With that comes concerns about losing health insurance coverage as well. In these difficult times, Health First Health Plans is here to lend a helping hand.

If you have lost your job or are working fewer hours and have questions about your health insurance, please call Health First Health Plans at 855-763-5137 and we can answer all of your questions free of charge.

This service is available to any Brevard County resident, no matter your insurance provider.

“We are here to help,” said Jason Alford of Health First Health Plans.

“In these uncertain times, many people are afraid they can no longer afford health insurance. But that is not the case. In fact, a lot of people qualify for low-cost or no-cost coverage, and we can help you understand your options.”

In addition to answering questions, Health First Health Plans associates can also offer practical advice to help families:

▪ Keep your income up to date. If you know your wages have or will decrease, it may lower your monthly health insurance premium payments.
▪ A substantial reduction in income or job loss qualifies you for the Special Enrollment Period to change your health coverage or find new coverage now, instead of waiting for the Open Enrollment period from November to December.

Health First Health Plans is dedicated to serving Brevard families. Losing a job or working fewer hours does not mean you have to lose your health insurance.

Call us at 855-763-5137 and let us help answer your health insurance questions. We are honored to offer this service for free to our community.
