Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued For Residents After Water Main Break in Mims

Due to a water main break in Mims, a precautionary boil water notice has been issued for all residents living on King Cross Street and Sherwood Forest Drive.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Due to a water main break in Mims, a precautionary boil water notice has been issued for all residents living on King Cross Street and Sherwood Forest Drive.

If you do not live at one of the named locations, you are not affected by this boil water notice.

As a precaution, it’s advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.

A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
