BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Representative Randy Fine (R-Palm Bay) announced that the upcoming Farm Share Free Food Distribution event on May 2 would be able to serve 1,000 families – up from the more than 500 served on April 25.

“I am so excited that we are able to double the number of families we can help at our free food distribution,” said Fine.

“While it was incredibly rewarding to meet and help the more than 500 we assisted last Saturday, it was heartbreaking to have to turn away so many more in need. I am so grateful that Farm Share has worked with me to double the amount of food we will be distributing this Saturday.”

This week’s free food distribution will start at 10 a.m. at Representative Fine’s office at 2539 Palm Bay Road NE in Palm Bay. It is first-come, first-served and being done drive-through only.

Representative Randy Fine (R-Palm Bay) announced that the upcoming Farm Share Free Food Distribution event on May 2 would be able to serve 1,000 families – up from the more than 500 served on April 25.

“We are living in a time in which so many of our fellow Floridians are worried about how to put food on the table, how to teach their children, how to not catch this unique virus,” said Fine.

“I’m lucky — my family is safe at home, and we are blessed to be financially secure. So for this birthday, it feels wrong to take when there are so many to whom I could give.”
