BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Start your engines! Space Coast Daily’s Daryl Durand debuts a new show with the Space Coast Daily Motorsports Report that will feature interviews, area businesses that promote racing and behind-the-scenes look at some greatest race cars and drivers on the Space Coast.

This week, Durand visits Copper Chimney Grill And Bar, located in Palm Bay at 1181 San Filippo Dr., where Durand is joined by Cody Naber from Rich’s Auto Tech in Melbourne to discuss the great food that Copper Chimney’s has to offer and the upcoming NASCAR race on Sunday at Darlington.

Rich’s Auto Tech has been proudly serving the Space Coast for over 18 years. Locally owned, they pride themselves for being the best car repair in Melbourne. All of Rich’s Auto Tech technicians are ASE certified or factory trained to offer exceptional service and quality repairs.

For Sunday’s NASCAR’s race, Brad Keselowski will start on the pole and will be joined by Alex Bowman on the front row to lead the field to green for the 293-lap, 400-mile race — the sport’s first since March 8 at Phoenix Raceway due to the COVID-19 stoppage.

“We’re back racing for the first time without the great fans in attendance,” said Durand.

“Ryan Newman (AKA Rocketman) makes his return to the cup series after the horrific crash on the last lap at Daytona. Matt Kenseth also returns to drive the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevy, who released Kyle Larson during the break from racing after using racial language during a virtual NASCAR race that went viral social media.”

In addition to the Space Coast Daily Motorsports Report, Durand will also be highlighting the area’s stock car racers, drag racers and sponsors that represent Brevard County on racing weekends.
