BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Titusville Police issued an advisory that the safest place for pets to view the launch is at home.

Titusville police officials encouraged community members and visitors to please leave pets at home during the upcoming historic launch on Saturday.

“There were several incidents on Wednesday of dogs inadvertently running into launch traffic,” said TPD officials on social media.

“We care about the safety of our citizens, visitors and ‘four-legged friends,’ please leave pets at home for their own safety. Be patient and drive safe.”
