Board of Brevard County Commissioners To Hold Special Meeting Tuesday, June 30

The Board of County Commissioners have scheduled a Special Meeting for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, to discuss Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES Act) funds that have been allocated as part of the County’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Board of County Commissioners have scheduled a Special Meeting for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, to discuss Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES Act) funds that have been allocated as part of the County’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting agenda includes discussion on CARES Act funding for Economic Support Programs, and also discussion related to the potential for a face covering or a face mask policy, following a recent upward trend in positive coronavirus tests in the county.

The meeting will be held with public comments from the Board of County Commissioners Chambers on the first floor and County Commissioners meeting in the Florida Room on the third floor of the Viera Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera, 32940.
