UPDATE: Police Give ‘All Clear’ at Florida State University, Situation Under Control

**UPDATE** Police have given the “all clear” and say the situation is under control after a potentially armed man was seen walking in the direction of Stadium Drive from Jackson Bluff Road on the campus of Florida State University. Law enforcement presence will remain strong on campus for the immediate future.
University officials say students can resume normal activities immediately.
More details will be released soon, police say.
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Florida State University sent out a message to students on-campus to seek shelter immediately on Monday after a potentially armed man was seen walking in the direction of Stadium Drive from Jackson Bluff Road.
“Law Enforcement Officers are in pursuit of a male subject wearing shorts and no shirt,” said a university spokesperson.
“The suspect is potentially armed with a hand gun. Continue to Shelter-in-Place.”
The alert was sent out to students shortly before 12 p.m. on Monday.
