Brevard County Campgrounds will re-open to 100 percent capacity

On Wednesday, June 3, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-139 directing Florida to enter the Phase 2 Recovery and Re-Opening Plan.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Governor Ron DeSantis this week issued Executive Order 20-139 directing Florida to enter the Phase 2 Recovery and Re-Opening Plan.

Effective Friday, June 5, the Brevard County Park and Recreation Department will begin to implement the following actions:

• Rentals will be available for groups of 50 people or less as recommended by CDC social distancing guidelines.
• Brevard County Campgrounds will re-open to 100% capacity. Day passes and camper visitation will resume.

Effective Monday, June 15, McLarty pool, located in Rockledge, will re-open to the public for lap swimming and water walking only, to encourage social distancing.
